PILING INSTALLATION

Piling installation is a process used for structures in soil or water. It is commonly employed in the construction of buildings, bridges, viaducts, and other structures.

LARGE DIAMETER BORED PILES

Large Diameter Bored Piles" are those excavated or drilled through rotation, using stabilizing fluid (for excavation support) and submerged concreting, with diameters ranging from 70cm to, in some cases, over 2.50m.

ROCK-EMBEDDED PILES

Rock-embedded piles are structural elements used in foundations to support constructions such as buildings, bridges, and other structures. These piles are directly inserted into the underlying rock of the soil, providing a solid and robust foundation for the structure above.

CONTINUOUS FLIGHT AUGER (CFA) PILE

The continuous flight auger pile is an on-site cast concrete pile, executed through a continuous auger and concrete injection through the central shaft of the auger simultaneously as it is withdrawn from the ground.

ROOT PILE

The root pile is a deep foundation element used in construction to provide structural support in unstable soils or those with limited load-bearing capacity. Unlike other piles, the root pile is drilled and concreted in situ, without the need to remove the soil.

GEODRAINS

Geodrains are geotechnical elements used in civil engineering to enhance soil characteristics in terms of drainage, reinforcement, and stabilization. These devices consist of porous materials or tubular structures installed in the soil to facilitate water removal and control hydrostatic pressure.

JET GROUTING

Jet grouting is a soil improvement process used in geotechnical engineering to increase the strength and reduce the permeability of the soil. This method is particularly employed in situations where it is necessary to strengthen weak or unstable soil strata.

MARINE AND RIVERINE WORKS

Containment with sheet piles, metal tubular piles, rock-embedded piles, and root piles are solutions to be used in marine and riverine works for the construction of docks, piers, anchorages, bridges, etc. FUNDESP has the equipment and skilled workforce to tackle all challenges.

DIAPHRAGM WALL / BARRETTE PILE

The diaphragm wall and barrette pile are common elements used in geotechnical engineering projects, especially in deep foundations and excavation support. Both play essential roles in soil stability and structure construction.

TUNNEL TREATMENT

Tunnel treatment refers to various techniques and measures employed to enhance geotechnical and structural conditions during the construction and operation of tunnels. These practices aim to ensure the stability, safety, and durability of underground structures.

TIEBACKS

Tiebacks are structural elements used in civil engineering to provide support and stability to structures, especially in situations where anchoring and reinforcement are required.
